Beach Night

Spent Saturday evening with the kids and Ethan's shadow, Hailey. They all had a blast and no one lost an eye to the marshmallow sticks. Raquel spent the first part of the evening "rescuing" ladybugs. Lots of ladybugs on the sand close to the water and our little activist was very worried about them drowning. She carried many armloads of bugs up the sand to a safer destination. Ethan and Hailey couldn't care less. In fact, I feel sorry for the bugs this summer around our house. They spend lots of time "helping " various bugs by poking them with sticks. They are fascinated with bugs...the bigger the better..run bugs run!

The kids "stole" this fort from some other kids...Ethan armed it with sticks sticking out of the walls..you know to protect his women...check out his arm!
