Sutter's Fort

 

 

Since fourth graders learn all about California history, we HAD to make a stop at Sutters's fort and learn all about the early gold mining days. Raquel and Ethan talked extensively about the Donner Party...for those of you that need an update on history, John Sutter sent help to bring them in after they got stuck in the snow for so long. Ethan had lots of questions about all this...fun!
